Lance was one of my all-time favorites at Klein Oak, and I just learned of his passing a few minutes ago (July 8, 2025). My sympathy to Brooke and the rest of Lance`s family. He was a gentleman of the highest order.

There was not a nicer, giving, competitive young man in our football program. Break my heart to hear of his death. No doubt he is sitting in the front chair in Heaven. Thinking about baby sister Brooke, my teaching friend Peggy!

I´m based in the UK so it took a bit of time for this tragic news to reach me. Lance was on one of my teams but quickly became a friend and taught me a lot about Texas. He took me on my first ever hunting trip, a memory I always cherished, and will do even more so now. The distance and business of work and life meant we didn´t get to see each other much the past few years, but he was a man with values that I really admired, and I´m deeply sorry for his family and friends. Sending strength from this side of the pond. RIP brother x

The stars will shine a little brighter and I´ll know it´s Lance smiling down on those who called him dad, son, brother, business partner, and friend. He was a fantastic human being, with a genuine smile and a laugh so contagious even on your worst day he could make you laugh with him. Lance had a passion for being a dad and he was fantastic at it (and I don´t mean maybe), even to kids that weren´t his. My kids actually pushed him into the pool fully clothed in jeans & boots, cowboy hat, and even his phone in his back pocket! Did he get mad? Absolutely not, he shrugged it off and went to tossing the kids off his shoulders into the water. My daughter still has that cowboy had too. I feel blessed to have known him and call him a dear friend. My heart goes out to his mom, sister, Connor and Nolan, may the many fond memories of Lance keep him close in your hearts forever. My sincerest condolences. Lance, till we see each other again...love you, and thank you for being you!

I´m so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you all. Please know that your loved one is safe in God´s memory (Proverbs 14:14,15). Just as he brought his son Jesus back to life, he will do the same for your loved one. May God give you comfort and strength to help you cope during this difficult time.
