She passed away on May 16, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Daniels; children, Michael Daniels, Charic Daniels-Jellins, D'arywn Daniels and a host of family and friends. The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 9:00 AM with the Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 AM. Both Services will be held at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 4730 Pederson St., Houston, Texas 77033, Rev. Jerome Davis, Officiating. The Interment will be held at Paradise South Cemetery (Pearland, Texas).

Hey Sis. Daniels, you were a diva before divas were even trending. I use to love watching you strut from your back pew to the side of the church and up to the announcement stand. Every Sunday in a different hat and a bling suit. You articulated every syllable and enunciated each word. ....just class!

If her daughter Charic is any reflection of her mother, then this woman was a wonderful, caring, and compassionate lady. I went to elementary school with her daughter, just as Houston was experimenting with integration. Charic and I became good friends. I mourn, with her, the passing of her mother. (The attached photo is how Charic may remember me, in 1968.)
