Derrick LaMond Davis Jr. expired (Monday) April 27, 2015 Visitation (Saturday) May 2, 2015 from 12-12:55 p.m., Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m., both services will be held at Riceville Mt. Olive Baptist Church 11539 South Gessner Rd., Rev. Terry E. Mackey Officiating. Interment Houston Memorial Gardens.

On November 12, 2020, I lost my Lil´ Kenny as the result of a one-car auto accident in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I have not been the same since.However, after watching the film "Lucky Girl," I hope that the spirits of Derrick & Lil´ Kenny meet, and that Derrick guide Lil´ Kenny as if he were his older brother, as they traverse through the afterlife.

DJ I am so heartbroken, words can't express how much I loved and will miss you and how proud I was of you. You were a role model to all the young men in your neighborhood. You did everything "right". When all the odds and the world were against you, you hung in there and succeeded.
