I was a teacher at Lakeview Elementary in Sugar Land for 10 years during the time Dorothy was the school nurse. She always had a smile and kind words for everyone. My sincerest sympathy goes to her family for the loss of such a dear person. Sandy Reina

My condolences to the Gandy family. I remember Mrs. Gandy as the Lakeview school nurse when I was a student there in the 1960s. She was always a friendly face. She raised a good family. Some of her children were classmates of my older siblings. I also remember that when playing baseball, I could always count on her sons being fair umpires.
