My deepest condolences to the family during this very difficult time. May God wrap His arms around you all.
I knew Dwight from working in finance for about 12 years. An outstanding man whom I respected for always being the same humble, considerate, and very knowledgeable. He always had a very positive take on things. May God provide strength and peace that surpasses all understanding for the family.

I went to Lamar University with Dwight and we lived in the same dorm. He was also my line brother on the Omega pledge line in the Spring of 1976. Over the years, we played over a thousand hours of Bid Whist in the dorms and later, at each other´s houses. As we both closely were aligned with the Omega Cardinal Principle of "Perseverance" we were both so competitive that we almost always played as partners so neither one of us would lose.
Due to Dwight´s postal career, we lost contact with each other. One of my finest moments was reuniting with him a few weeks ago to play our patented "all night" Bid Whist tournaments with our college buddies. I am deeply saddened by the loss of my frat brother and card partner.
I regret that I will miss his funeral because I am out of town. My condolences and prayers go out to the family. Cherish friends and love ones because we never know when God will call them home to be with Him.

Dwight was such a kind person. Always smiling! He was nice to everybody no matter who you were. Junior high & high school friends were happy when he showed up. Prayers for those he left behind and warm transitions for him as he gets his giant hug from Jesus.

Dwight was a friend as we worked in Finance together in Houston. He was a great father and husband.
He moved to Dallas for work and I got to see him once a year as our meetings took place in Dallas. We were all ways happy to see each other.
