Don, I am in total shock. Just learned of Eileen's death today. I assure you I would have been there for all of you if I had known. She was such a beauty--inside and out. We all had some good times and I am sorry to have been out of touch. I am comforted by the thought that Scott met her at the gates of Heaven. Love to all. Joyce Holcomb

Don,
I want to thank you for bringing the most beautiful and loving sister to our family. Y'all have done such a great job with your kids...they are super!!! As we all miss Eileen, just knowing she is in a better place gives comfort. I hope dad is not teasing her so much as he did when he was alive...oh, but Eileen will get him straight. I look forward to the day that we get to join our loved ones in a Glorious place known as Heaven. I hope it gives you strength just knowing the great love she had for you and she gave you five beautiful kids that will always be a reminder until the day you meet again. I love you with all my heart and if there is anything that I can do, just pick up the phone. With Loving Thoughts, Your Sister Tinie

Eileen was a special lady in every sense of the word. We know God was compassionate in not wanting her to suffer any longer and took her home where she is dancing with the angels. She is not in your past, but in your future. God has promised we will see our loved ones again, under much better circumstances. God bless the Bowman family, praying for peace and comfort for you all. It was our honor to have known this wonderful lady and friend.

I was lucky enough to be a neighbor of Eileen's for the past 9 years or so. I remember her children coming down to my house when they were small to see my horses.
Eileen taught me, as well as a number of other neighbors how to be brave through a horrible illness and keep her sense of humor throughout. We would go to visit her to cheer her up and she would have all of us in hysterics. I was blessed to have known Eileen and her amazing family.
GOD Bless Eileen

Dear Bowman's,
They truly broke the mold of Eileen. She was a breath of fresh air! Everyone should be so lucky to have a Wife and Mother like her in their life.
May the road rise up to meet you -
May the wind be at your back -
May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields - and until we meet again, may GOD hold you in the palm of his hand.

Dedicated, loving, devoted, genuine, selfless...all words that begin to describe Eileen. She was always thinking about others, encouraging others, she truly cared about all around her. Her number one passion was being a wife and mother. We wept on Friday, but then we rejoiced in the fact that she is no longer trapped in that earthly body any longer. We love you - and save a place at the banquet table for us.
