Elva Flores Memoriam

It is with profound respect and deep affection that we commemorate the life of Elva L. Flores, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving son, Dr. Roberto Flores, and close family. Elva was born on January 28, 1948.
With deep love and gratitude for her life, we invite you to a Memorial Mass in honor of Elva Flores.
Professionally, Elva held the esteemed position of Executive Vice President of the International Department at Prosperity Bank in Houston, Texas.
Throughout her extensive career in banking, which also included roles at First CitiBank, BankOne, TeamBank, Laredo National Bank, and International Bank of Commerce (IBC)
She demonstrated grace, strong leadership, and unwavering dedication, positively influencing many within the banking community.

My sincere condolences to the family. Both my daughter and I were grateful to have known her and were heartbroken to have heard of her passing. She was always such a kind and caring "Tia Elva". I will miss our talks. She had such happy moments to share with each call. May God hold her in his infinite grace. Rest in Peace Mrs. Elva. He's got another angel in his kingdom.

Elva was one of the most loving people I ever met. We worked together since 1975. She was a gracious
Lady that listened to all who came and gave loving and experienced advice. She always was about her clients and their families. As a former banker, I understand her moves to the bank which is inline with her values and that of her clients and really family after all these years. She was a true gift to all that knew her and those she gave her love. Her son and all who knew her, she was a gift. Very best, Kent Woodard

Dear Elva,
Your legacy and example made the world a better place. You´re know me as one of Latin Women´s Initiative´s "fairy god mothers" among the founding leaders 30 years ago who helped shaped the organization into what it is today. As a neighbor, you were always smiling and caring and such a joy to be with. We miss you! Thank you for your love and for setting such an example to follow.
