Thanks to my Uncle Harry for his love, his friendship, his helping hand, and his guidance. Thanks for the laughter, the good times, and all the great memories. The trains will always run on time in Arlee. My special thoughts and prayers to Joann, Kerry & Tina. MLJ

Harry's Family,
Only knowing Harry for 10-15 years or so, I consider him a very good friend. What a bright candle he was. An infectious smile that was always on his face and on his soul. First time I met him, he was crawling around under a Clear Creek ISD bleacher doing what he does best, fixing things for the schools. I wondered aloud, "What is this wiry, old man doing under the Bleachers?" He made an instant impression upon me.
One evening many years ago, he and I were having a conversation in my office in Austin, Texas. I don't remember much about what we talked about other than him telling Old College and Navy stories. But when we got through, I knew I was in the presence of a special man. A man of conviction, family, dedication and humor.
One time I called him for some advice (we are in the same business), and asked him what he was doing. He replied, "I am walking around the student center at Notre Dame University". On a whim, I asked him if he could sing the school's fight song. And without hesitation, and in a loud whisper, he started and finished the entire song over the phone to me. A Classic Moment from A Classic Guy.

I will greatly miss my friend Harry. I like to think of him as the Cruise Director of Kapri Street. There was never a dull moment with Harry.
