Jeffrey Silverberg Obituary

Jeffrey Silverberg, LCSW born December 13, 1947 departed this life Sunday, June 24 2012 at 11:47 a.m. He is survived by one sister, Rita Silverberg of California, the family of Sally Easterling, LCSW of Houston, and countless others whose lives he touched. Jeffrey received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the City University of New York and his Masters Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. He was a member of the National Association of Social Workers and a partner in Bammel Lane Associates where he managed a private practice in Psychotherapy for many years. An informal gathering of his friends and clients is being held at the John Palmer Art Gallery and Studio 1218 Heights Boulevard, Houston Texas 77008 on Monday July 2, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Please join us in celebration. I miss my soul-mate and always will and I will hold so many sweet memories in my heart as well. It was NOT your time, but who am I to argue with the powers that be. One day I hope to understand this tragedy and in the meantime, I will do my best to honor your memory all of the rest of my days here without you. I will never make a list of the ways our relationship touched me, molded me, saved me, guided me, entertained me and above all, let me know how good unconditional love feels. I have that gift forever. Thank you my sweetness. Thank you. I love you.

My condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Silverberg. May the GOD of all comfort provide you with whatever is needed so you can cope with your great loss. Also there will be a time when those asleep in death will have the wonderful prospect of resuming life again free from all causes of death and the grief it brings.
