Don't think of him as gone away. His journey has just begun. Life holds so many facets and being here on earth is only one. Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched. For nothing loved is ever lost, and he was loved so much.
Our deepest sympathy to the family. You are in our prayers. God will keep you strong.

I would like to express my deepest sympathies to the Peoples family. Coach(as we called him) was very inspirational to me and the football team from the class of 1978. We were not great but he called us to maximize the tools we posessed. He will be surely missed yet the the lessons he taught will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Coach Peoples your work here is successful.

Coach Peoples....What a beautiful spirit. The Ladet family will always warmly and fondly remember him. The Golf Coach at E.E. Worthing High Shool during 1994-97, he was extremely instrumental in instilling the love of the game while teaching the skills to his team. We will cherish the memories of our various school golf trips. Coach Peoples led the Evan E. Worthing Golf Team to its first ever District Championship in 1997. His leadership was inspiring.
We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the Peoples Family. You do not grieve alone, Coach Peoples is loved by many.

To the Family of Coach Johnny Peoples. I remember Coach Peoples during my Worthing Days, back in the late 70’s. I remember the many conversations we would have about making good grades, staying in school and attending college. Everyone loved and respected Coach Peoples. I never had him for gym class, but he was always willing to share his wisdom with students outside the classroom.
I lost my 23-year-old son on December 30, 2003. So I know exactly what the family is going through. Our God is a good God and he only calls for the best and sends for the ready. Rest assured the gates of Heaven flew open, when Coach Peoples was called home.
I know he’s in heaven. My son was a football player and God needed a Coach to Coach the football team. (Team With Wings). (Smile).
I know the pain is tremendous, but eventually the good memories will ease the pain. The pain and hurt never truly goes away, but day-by-day it does get better. Turn to God for peace, strength and encouragement. When everything is over and people have forgotten, you can always turn to God, because he always listens. God also loves you un-conditionally.
Coach Peoples is with my son now. I know he’s giving him words of wisdom and understanding like he’s always done with all of his students.
May God be with you during your time of need.
Greta Walker-Parrish (Class of 1979).
