Wow! I am truly taken aback by this unfortunate event that has taken place. However, God is always in control. To the family: Lean and depend on God in this difficult time. God bless and keep you.

To the Mathews Family,
I would like to express my most deepest sympathy towards the Mathews Family and friends. I can't seem to imagine how difficult a time this must be to lose someone as close as a son or daughter. I pray the good Lord strengthen, bless, and comfort your hearts.
I recall a brief memory of Kevin sitting behind me in French class @Kashmere. I must say, he was infact a decent, respectable young man. And I'm gonna' miss you Kevin!
** May we all find comfort in celebrating the beautiful life lived by a young man named Kevin J. Mathews. **

Words can not express how I felt when I heard of Kevin's passing. I was shocked more so because I had just spoken with him recently for the first time in years. His death really hit home, especially since we were planning our class reunion and he was so excited and supportive about everything we had going and was so glad to see everyone! I hate that he won't be there...
To the family:
It's easy to tell you to be encouraged but it's what you all will have to do, but you won't be doing it alone, for God is always with you. Cry... grieve...it's going to hurt for a while but when you feel like you can't go on look to the hills from whence cometh your help. May God bless you and keep you and I pray your strength.

To the family and friends of Kevin Mathews:
Kevin was indeed a decent young man, heading in the right direction--heaven. God had a plan for Kevin's life, for He is always in control.
Though your hearts are saddened, remember God will never put more on you than you can bear. Weeping may endure for a night but joy does come in the morning.
God Bless you all and may He be with you in your time of sorrow.

Hello to you all. My prayers go out to Kevin's Family. I remember Kevin as a bright and very easy going young man. He was always smiling and always willing to be a friend to just about all. My heart hurts anytime that you hear that a young life is lost, but it is harder when it is someone that you know. To all of you reading this, just know that Kevin was one of God's Angels that He has decided to call home. He doesn't have to worry with the trials and tribulations of this world that we live in. God knew what was best. Kevin's work here was done, so God called him to be an inspiration next to Him. God needed him to be a vessel in Heaven. Again I am praying for all. May God Bless you and Keep you.
