Louis Brailas Obituary

Funeral service for MR. LOUIS BRAILAS, 83, passed away August 26, 2006 in Nacogdoches, TX. He was born April 25, 1923 to Caria and Nicholas Brailas in Houston. He graduated from Lamar High School in 1941 and Texas A&M Universtiy in 1945. He was an army veteran of WWII and Korea and a successful Exxon dealer in Houston for many years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Dorothy Brailas; sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Deborah Brailas and Jeffrey and Martha Brailas; daughter and son-in-law Carrie and Gerard Ventura; brother Alexander Brailas and 5 grandchildren. Visitation with be from 5-7 pm Monday with Trisagion at 7:00 pm at Laird Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 am at Laird Funeral Chapel 2116 South St Nacogdoches, TX with Father Brendan Pelphrey officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Donations may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral 3511 Yoakum Houston 77006.
