Hello, All!!

My mother (Jeannette Spivey) and I (Raquel Eldridge/Gradnigo) were friends with Nicole and Danielle through my stepdad's (Rickey Spivey) friendship with Marlon. Marlon was such a kind and gentle man and we were devastated to hear of his death.

We've been hoping to one day find and reconnect with Nicole & Danielle.

Unsure of possible new names or locations, social media searches net nothing.

I see Nicole's comment to the family here. It'll be 21 years since we lost this amazing soul. He's not forgotten. Hoping my comment will alert someone in the family that knows them to bridge the gap.

Both of us are on FB.

Love to everyone who may see this. Be well.

Marlon, my greatest thoughts are of our many wonderful summers together

in Waco.

I am quite sure your grandfather would have been happy to know that you have carried on the tradition of helping others. I consider this a great asset in an individual. You did a good job.

My love for you will sustain me just as the memories and pictures will last a life time.

So rest in peace dear one from your

Aunt Maureen and the bossman your Uncle Jerome. Love you always!

To Amy, Frank, Iris, Clyde and Tracey,

I am still trying to catch my breath after hearing about Marlon's death . . . it was quite frankly the last thing I ever expected. Even though Marlon and I had not spoken for many years, he was in my thoughts often and I always hoped life was going well for him. I don't know what took his life, God must have wanted him for reasons only He knows; but he will surely be missed by all whose lives he touched including me and Danielle. Danielle was devastated when I told her and we both have am emptiness in our hearts. We are so sorry for your loss and hope the Lord eases your pain. May God Bless you all always and forever.

What we all wish is that, "Jehovah to remember us when his time comes" Job 14:13 O that in She´ol you would conceal me,

That you would keep me secret until your anger turns back,

That you would set a time limit for me and remember me!

From the Alexander family of Hillwood neighborhood. Our sincere thoughts!

Marlon,

Words can't express what you meant to my family and me. Throughout the years your warm smile and uplifting spirit have help me get through the hard times. You were always there for me when I had questions and to point me in the right direction. You will be missed greatly. A big thanks goes out to your parents for blessing the world with a wonderful person like yourself. We miss you, we love you and we'll see you again someday when we're all in Heaven together...Marcus E. Tamez

Marlon was my heart and my soul. He was a wonderful person inside and out. He would give you the shirt off his back. He was my rock! At times like this, he would be the person I called, now my best friend is gone to a better place. The last time I talked to him he told me I'll always have his heart. He was so happy when Alyssa was born, he called her his first and only grand baby. It's so sad she will grow up and not know what a wonderful person he was. But I will make sure she knows all he has meant to me and my children, and the wonderful things he has given us the joy we shared. I Love You Marlon! Yvette
