Triny was a great lady! She and her sweet husband Alfred were my parents' best friends. Your parents have known me since I was one year old. I loved your parents. They were so wonderful to me, my sister Jean and my parents, Walter and Lois White. They are now all together, enjoying the peace that they all deserve...God Bless...I will always miss my other mother...Love, Denise

My heartfelt condolences are with the Haro family. "Mom" Haro meant the world to us. More than 50 years ago she took a young boy into her home and made him feel as though he was her own child. There are no words to express my gratitude for that simple act of kindness, and no words to express how much my husband Victor loved her. We feel such a tremendous loss, but know that God has welcomed her home. We will surely miss her.

My soul is happy for Tia Triny, but my heart is so sad for our loss. I know that the Lord welcomed her with open arms and said "well done good and faithful servant." I will miss the long chats during which Tia Triny caught me up on everybody's activities in Michigan. I send my prayers and love to all the family.

My connection to Triny is through her friend Reba Lois White who departed this world on her 62nd birthday in 1987. I was related by marriage.
I was in Columbia, Tennessee with the immediate family who were making arrangements. Triny called from Detroit, said she was coming into Nashville, and would somebody please collect her. That job fell to me. Later, as I was driving to the airport, it dawned on me that I hadn't seen her for 11 years. But I went to the gate anyhow. She came off the airplane and we recognized each other at once. She gave me that big smile and it was like I'd just seen her last month.
So over the years we kept up with each other with the Christmas cards and more frequently by telephone since I no longer live in Michigan. I last spoke to her only a couple of weeks ago from St. Simons Island and she was getting ready to go to a birthday party that evening.
Such was my connection to this nice lady. She was always gracious and always entertaining! By the way, many years ago she gave me an iridescent image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patron of the Mexican people. It has been in my house – on the wall – ever since. It will remain there as a symbol of our friendship spanning 37 years. R.I.P.
