Patricia Hall Obituary

PATRICIA ANN HALL, born on the 29th of December 1934, left this world on the 15th of November 2004 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Pat attended San Jacinto High School where she graduated with honors in 1952.In addition to her academic skills, she was elected as one of the school's beauty's. A lifelong resident of the Houston and Sugar Land communities, Pat actively embraced her position as Vice President of the Hall Sprinkler Company. She was an avid cook, gardener, fisherman, golfer and reader of good novels; however, her most dedicated pastime was that of being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She never missed an opportunity to attend an event or function of her children or grandchildren until her illness struck her down. Pat was a dedicated servant of the lord and a 43 year member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church. She was also an active member of Sugar Creek Country Club. Pat was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Craig and her father, Les Craig. She leaves behind a host of family and friends; including her husband of 52 years, Conway G. Hall; children, Craig and Peggy Hall, Nancy Hall, Dinah Hall, Tracy Hilton and husband, Dave, Conway "C.P." Hall and girlfriend, Carolee Justus. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brandi Zamora and husband, James, Amber Hall, Jacob Hilton, Craig Hall, Jr., Patrice Desch, Shane Hall and Wesley Desch; and great grandchildren, Zachary and Rylee Zamora; and sister, Jean Ellis and husband Don. "Patricia Ann Hall has been an angel to her family and all who knew her during her stay on earth and has now become our newest special angel in heaven." A memorial service will be conducted at three o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 19th of November 2004, at St. Paul Presbyterian Church, 7200 Bellaire Boulevard in Houston, with Rev. Dr. Kevin Boyd officiating. Immediately following the service, friends will gather to celebrate Pat's life at a location to be published in the church service bulletin. For those desiring, memorials in Pat's name may be directed to the St. Paul Presbyterian Church, 7200 Bellaire Blvd., Houston, TX, 77074.

I would like to sign this Guest Book for our friends, Ed and Joyce Nelson. Who,now live in Hillsboro, Texas. They were also part of the 'ole days' in Larkwood. All of us on Ariel street were so close getting to know and enjoy our neighbors and had such pride in our new wonderful little homes and our new friends.

Ed and Joyce and their children, Sally and Douglas extend their condolences to all of the Hall Family.

Come to Me

God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me."

With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away, and although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Just want to say thanks to all who have sent the nice letters of the memories of my mother, Pat.

For those unable to attend the service, myself and a number of my friends will be doing a skydiving memorial ash dive over Sugar Creek CC on what would have been her 70th birthday. A day that she had promised to go skydiving with me. She had actively supported my lust for life through skydiving. Many of the people that will join me in this celebration of her life by releasing her ashes into the heavens above SCCC had the pleasure of meeting this sweatheart of a women on any of her many visits to Skydive Spaceland with my niece and nephew in tow.

Once again thanks for the memories.

To the Hall Family,

"One gift above all others

God gives to us to treasure

One that knows no time, no place

And one gold cannot measure.

The precious, poignant tender gift

Of Memory... that will keep

On dear ones ever in our hearts

Although God gives them sleep.

It brings back long remembered things,

A song, a word, a smile.

And the world's a better place

Because...

We had them for a while."

With heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your loved one- Pat.

Peggy, please let me know if you need anything.

Blessings,

Rosnela Hardesty & family

Dear Connie, Craig, Dinah, Tracy, C.P. & Family, I am so sorry for your loss, I have memories going back to Ariel/Birdwood, Then the lake, then with business together. Your wife/mother had an impact on my life as did knowing your whole family. Mrs. Pat Hall planted seeds in me when I did not know I needed them planted. Altho I've only known Pat for a little under a year I feel so lucky to have had the chance. As C.P.'s girlfriend, she totally welcomed me into the family and was such a beautiful and gracious person, a true gentlewoman. I am truly sorry I will not have the chance to taste her awesome gumbo or other recipes that everyone raves about.

What has impressed me most, in the last few weeks, has been the love I've seen from Pat's grandchildren toward her. Obviously she was a great grandmother. I wish I could have had a grandma like that.

love you Pat

I enjoyed talking to Pat, when she would drop off her permit applications. I will also miss her smiling face and how she used to always tell us how cold our office was. She will be missed and rest assured, she is in a much better place. God Bless the family, during this up coming holiday season. She will still be with you in spirit.

Mr.Hall, words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. Mrs.Hall was a wonderful and loving person. Even the few times I have seen you both in recent years, I would always feel like no time had passed at all. You both were always around when my Dad would bring us kids up for your Christmas parties at Hall Sprinkler, to Lake Livingston for the weekend, and you both always made us feel like family. I will never forget all those fun times we all had. Mrs.Hall will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. We love you. Shelly
