Patsy Fae Jones

Patsy Fae Shuttlesworth Jones, born February 18, 1939, in Bullard, Texas, to George and Ella Shuttlesworth, went to a new home in Heaven, on August 2, 2024.
She was the beloved wife of Kenneth Raymond Tex Jones for 36 wonderful years. She was a graduate of Austin High School, University of Houston and Texas Southern University. Her career in education as a teacher and vice principal spanned 36 years. She was active in the Iota Alpha chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, and a faithful member of the Lifeline Sunday School Class, at Heights Baptist Temple.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and an extended family she shared with Ray. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings, children, nephews, nieces and family she shared with Ray.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation, at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, followed at noon by a Celebration of Life funeral service. Both the visitation and the Celebration of Life are at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd. Graveside will be at 2 p.m., at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Rd.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the Iota Alpha Scholarship Fund for those wishing to do so.
