Robert (Bob) Frank

1946 - 2012

Robert (Bob) Frank, 65, of Random Lake, Wis., formerly of Kenosha, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, in Kalamazoo, Mich. Born on Nov. 24, 1946, in Kenosha, Wis., Bob was the son of Arthur R. and Florence I. (Gulliford) Frank. Bob attended local schools and was a graduate of Bradford High School. Bob continued his education specializing in the automotive field. Bob completed his military obligation with the U.S. Navy upon graduation from high school.

Bob owned and operated Rods Plus specializing in custom made street rods until 2004. He was presently the national salesman for J.W. Rod Garage, Belgium, Wis.

Bob was always active in cars and was very proud of building his custom 1932 Ford Panel Delivery Truck with which he won national awards. He was one of the original eight that initiated the North Shore Rods Club. He was also #318 lifetime member of the National Street Rod Association.

He is survived by his brother, Mike; his aunt, Darlene (Harold) Kennedy. He will also be missed by four nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bill.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Wesley Methodist Church, 4600 - 60th Street, Kenosha, Wis.

My brother-in-law, Ken, was vacationing with Bob when he passed away.I will say for Ken, Bob was such a good friend. Ken thought he was so very special.Prayers are sent from Ken and Ken's family.PamE

To the family of Bob--My husband Don Thompson knew Bob many years from Mick's worked w/ him @ Berman-Shaver , Iola car show and went on trips w/ him n Joanne..always talking cars!!! Great guy!!! will be missed...in a wonderful place now!!
