Robert Meador Obituary
Meador, "Doc Bob" DDS, MS, 71 of Sugar Land, TX peacefully passed away December 28, 2013 surrounded by family. An Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to his profession, Robert was past President of the Houston Dental Association, served many years on the Board of Directors of the Texas Dental Association, served on the Ethic Committee of the American Dental Association, and was honored to be inducted into the Fellowship of the American College of Dentists in 1993.
Known as "Doc Bob" to his many friends, associates, and grandchildren he was an avid sports fan who also loved parades, country music, cooking, gardening, camping, skiing, and parties!
Robert is survived by his wife Jaye Talus, her daughter Carolyn Talus, and son Peter Talus, his sons Robert Meador, Jr., Scott Meador, Dwayne Guccione, sister Jane Engeman, and their families including his eight grandchildren and two nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11 AM at River Pointe Church (Lakeside Building), located at 5000 Ransom Rd., Richmond, TX, 77469.
All who were touched by "Doc Bob" are invited to attend.

I worked for Dr. Meador back when his pratice was on Frankway. I learned so much from him and he was tons of fun to work for. He enjoyed life and enjoyed taking the staff out for dinner and drinks. He will be missed. My deepest sympanthy to the entire family. May he rest in peace and May God Bless you all.

Doc Bob my friend. You will be missed. Of all my fond memories you asking me to sing Julio and Willie To All The Girls I've lovec Before...you had the hats everything....such laughter...and who could forget the lobsters you brought in on ribbon leashes forbthecrawfish races.....so so much laughter and good cheer. may God bring your family joyous memories in this time of sorrow to help ease the pain. Jaye & Family, although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.
Robert brought so many happy moments in our lives and left us with a treasure trove of memories.

Doc Bob always greeted you with a smile. He was the "doc to the bars" and treated all his friends in the business and never charged them. He will be missed!
