Adrian Albers Obituary

Adrian "Bud" George Albers
3/27/1935 - 8/26/2016
Adrian "Bud" Albers entered into the presence of Jesus on Friday August 26, 2016. A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend will be missed by the many who loved him dearly. A memorial service to celebrate Bud's life will be held on Saturday September 10th at 2 p.m. at Crossroads Community Church 4170 E Amity Ave, Nampa, ID.
He leaves behind his wife of nearly 60 years, Rita, as well as his children David (daughter in law Lisa) Albers and Diana (son in law Jim) Dean; grandchildren Megan and Paige Albers, Ryan Dean and Danielle (spouse Nate) Berrian.
Bud was born on March 27, 1935 to Theodore and Idell Albers and lived his entire life in Nampa with the exception of when he served in the U.S. Army. It was while serving that he met and married the love of his life; they returned to Idaho where he co-owned Hopper Electric, worked extremely hard but also lived a full and rich life. In 1990 he was the recipient of a heart transplant then in 1998 he received a new kidney as well. In his later years he enjoyed volunteering for the Nampa Police Dept., as well as the War Hawk Air museum and after 9-11 they began to help Airmen through Operation Warm Heart, which provides monetary assistance and gifts to those within the Air Force. Bud treasured his family and his relationship with the Lord.
The family would prefer instead of flowers, a donation be made to Operation Warm Heart, P.O. Box 4188 Mountain Home AFB, ID 83648 Services are under the direction and care of Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 466-3545.
