Darrel Saxton
BEAVER DAM, Ariz. - Darrel John Saxton passed away September 25, 2010, in Beaver Dam, Arizona, after an extended illness.
He married Dora Pyper on December 15, 1962. He went to work for UPFE in Pocatello, Idaho, in November of 1966, and retired in November of 2001. Darrel loved to hunt, fish, go four-wheeling and being outdoors. His grandchildren were the light of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Dora Saxton, of Blackfoot, Idaho; two brothers, Bert (Twila) Saxton of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Dee (Eva) Saxton of Arimo, Idaho; two sisters, Pennie (Fred) Saunders and Vonda Judkins, both of Blackfoot, Idaho; three children, Darrel (Joyce) Saxton Jr., and Shelley (Richard) Mangum and Laurie Saxton, all of Blackfoot, Idaho; 16 grandchildren, Sgt. Christopher Saxton in Iraq, Amber (Kelley) Wood of Blackfoot, Idaho, Robert (Jennifer) Saxton of Pocatello, Idaho, Damon (Alicia) Saxton, Jason Saxton, Jessica Saxton, Jonothan Saxton, Chad Rivers, all of Blackfoot, Idaho, Misty (Jim) Bennett-Ferris of Inman, Neb., David Bennett of Genoea, Neb., Daniel (Chrystal) Bennett of O'Neill, Neb., Andrew Bennett of O'Neill, Neb., Mikey Bennett, Justin Keaton and Kyle Mangum, all of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Kandice Mangum of Pocatello, Idaho; 12 great-grandchildren, Ziggy, Jaccob, Anthony, Joseph, Savanna, Kay Lee, Destiny, Joshua, Bailey, Tessa, Layla and Aris. He was preceded in death by his parents, Newcomb and Fern Saxton, three sisters and one brother.
