Oh Jack-
I just learned of your passing, and I am deeply saddened. Missed are the times you, me, Donna, and Nori spent together; missed are the times of banter and laughter; missed are the celebrations marked by singing and you strumming the guitar to Ring of Fire and Orange Blossom Special, yet nothing touched us more than the resonating melodies of Green, Green Grass of Home. Thank you for the many good laughs, the many good songs; may you walk in the green, green grass of home.
Good-bye my friend,
Traci Harbert

We will miss Jack. He was so caring for his oldest sister as he came daily to set with her before her passing. We will always remember his kindness.

Uncle Jack was the sweetest happy man. He helped me so much when my mom (Ruth) died. He reminded me how she LIVED and modeled for me how to do the same. I will miss him, his singing "Don't call me Darlin, Darlin" and all the others he loved so much, along with that little quickstep thing he did. . The thing I will miss the most though is his laugh, it always made me smile!
Rest in Peace Uncle Jack

To our Uncle Jack, our family will always remembered you as one of the most enjoyable "hosts" of the Bybee Family Reunions in Downey with all your brothers and sisters by your side. And thank you for watching out for your brother and my dad, Gene for all those years.

I remember my Dad "Larry" took us up to Idaho to visit. Uncle Jack was fun showing us all how to work the farm. It was fun running around playing with my cousins.

I remember uncle Jack to be a tough railroad man and have many memories of younger days out by the pokey airport. You will be missed uncle Jack ....my love goes out to my aunt and cousins in their time of grief. I love you guys!

Uncle Jack and my cousins were so much part of my childhood. I watched chickens and cows and bailing hay..and rode betsy...it was all so awesome. I am honored and grateful for the time I got to spend with him just lately cleaning and going to the store and talking and looking at all the pictures at his house. It was a complete pleasure. My uncle Jack was always very kind to me and I am going to miss him.

There are so many wonderful, happy memories of our families spending time together, especially in the early years when the kids were growing up. All my kids loved
their Uncle Jack. Thank you for being such a kind, giving brother-in-law. Thank you, for leaving us so many fond memories to cherish through the years to come. You will be missed!
