Dear Brad, Ann, and Don, your mother and wife made such an impression on me as a young girl. She raised a wonderful family and was a faithful servant to her God and church. I know you will all miss her terribly and I send you love. Kristin Dahlquist

We will miss her warm smile, her musical laugh, the twinkle in her eye, her carmel syrup, the spur of the moment sandwiches, raisin cookies, card games, chinese checkers, sitting in the sun on the deck, sledding on the hill, the spic and span house, the doilies, the Precious Moments, the well fed squirrels, and the unconditional Love.
So many wonderful memories of the kindness my Aunt Lucille extended to me throughout my life. Whenever we arrived from Boise, she was so welcoming and warm. There was always a big hug! Like my own mother, she would give gifts occasionally, with a clear message that I was valued, since these gifts always came with a smile. The times we visited were always full of joy and laughter, no matter how hard the times were. There was always wonderful food, and great times. How lucky I was to have an Aunt like her!
But she was more than an Aunt. She provided a home to my mother, when they both were orphaned. Lucille and my Uncle Don helped my mother build the foundation that allowed her to find her place in this big, confusing world. My Aunt had that approach to life, that made a difference for all of us.
I have had the privilege to watch from afar as she supported so many, as we all struggle to get through this life. Watching her even keeled approach, her continued support of everyone, has been an affirmation of how we all should treat each other.
