Craig Sprout Obituary

Craig Noel Sprout
1944 ~ 2013
Craig Noel Sprout, 68, of Meridian, Idaho, passed to reunite with others gone before him on May 8, 2013, in the early morning hours with his wife, Debbie holding his hand.
Craig was born to Noel and Doris Sprout on December 22, 1944, the older of two boys (Scott being the younger) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
After high school, he worked at US Steel while attending college. He would later enter the US Navy as a communications specialist with a top secret clearance and was honorably discharged after six years, returning to US Steel as a Rolling Mill Inspector in Gary, Indiana until the mill shut down. From there, he worked at Hostess Cakes as a branch manager, which is where he met his soul mate, Debra Jean (Debster). They married and together they agreed they would go West and go they did. They moved to Colorado Springs, where he was a sales representative for Central Uniform and Linen Rental Services. Out West was so good they moved even farther West to Idaho, where they made a home in a sweet little cottage in the city of Meridian. At the time of his passing, he worked for True Green and had done so for the past 18 years.
Together they have three boys and two girls, Aaron (Angie) Sprout, Ryan (Shelly) Pitzen, Justin Pitzen, Maureen (Mario) Gonzalez, Natalie (Ryan) Lyons; nine grandchildren, Juliana, Christian, Peyton, Logan, Averyana Gonzales, Alissa Pitzen, Payton Pitzen, Nayonce, and NaRya. Also surviving Craig is his wife of 21 years, Debra Jean Sprout; his brother, Scott (Barbara) Sprout; sisters-in-law, Kathy Dickey, Diane (Harry) Miller, Jean Kleveno; mother-in-law, Florence Dickey; many nieces and nephews; as well as his two loving dogs, Molly and Muffin. Preceding in passing are his parents, Noel and Doris Sprout; and his loving Labrador, Sugar Sprout.
In Craig's memory, contributions may be made to the Idaho Humane Society or a pet charity of your choice.
An open house will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 3887 Sugar Creek Drive, Meridian, Idaho from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
A special thank you to Legacy Hospice for such special care, especially Sonny and Brian.
Prayer services will be conducted by Scott Sprout at 4:00 p.m.
