David Pica Obituary

David Anthony Pica III David Anthony Pica III, 26, our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle, husband and friend was carried home to be with our Heavenly Father on May 26, 2007, after a motorcycle accident in Nampa, Idaho. He was 26. David (Anthony) was born Oct. 28, 1980, in Twin Falls, the son of David Pica II and Lori Fitzhugh. He graduated in 1999 from Minico High School. Throughout his life, David spent most of his time enjoying hunting, fishing, moto-cross, four wheeling with his rock crawling club H.B.R.K., and most of all, using his Suzuki Samurai in which he has constructed over the last three years. He was employed at AAtronics Inc. as a Project Manager. He moved to Boise in 1999 with the love of his life Lacy Mae Pica, which he married on September 13, 2002. David was full of energy and life, bringing a smile to the heart and face of everyone he met. He loved music, especially metal and rock. He always had a joke to tell. He was a friend to all, so lovable, with open arms and ready to hug. He was loyal and compassionate and loved deeply by his family and friends. His loss places a huge void in our hearts. David is survived by his parents, Lori Fitzhugh of Butte, Mont., and David Pica II of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho; brother, Colby Holmes of Butte, Mont.; his grandparents, Ray Fitzhugh and Loretta Williams of Burley, Idaho, David Pica I of Scranton, Penn., Linda Toombs of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; step mother Shelly Pica of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.; a niece, Karmen Herrera of Burley, Idaho; his aunts, uncles and cousins, James and Jayone Fitzhugh and daughter Yosune Fitzhugh of Burley, Idaho, Donna and Richard Fletcher of Burley, Idaho, Kathi and Damon Blincoe (Pocatello, Idaho) and children, April (Portland, Ore.) and Jasper (Burley, Idaho) White and Kelsey (Arizona) and Kaitlen (Pocatello, Idaho) Blincoe, Mark Pica of Post Falls, Idaho, Lisa Pica of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Brittany Pica of Post Falls, Idaho, and most of all, his wife Lacy Mae Pica of Nampa, Idaho. David and Lacy were to be married five years this Sept. 13 but have been together for 13 years after their first shared kiss, but will be together for eternity. David's memorial will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 31, in Nampa, Idaho at the Nampa Funeral home, Yraguen Chapel, located at 415 12th Ave. S., Nampa and again on Friday, 7 p.m. in Burley, Idaho at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, located at 1350 E. 16th St., Burley. David will be missed dearly but will live on in through the tales and memories of those that have had their lives touched by him. Thank you Lord for blessing our lives with David, even though it was for such a short time.

Lori: You and all of Anthony's family and friends are in my prayers. Anthony will always be a special young man to everyone he touched and spoke to. My heart goes out to you at this time and will be here for you for however long you need it. I do not know the pain losing a child would give, and I believe a part of Anthony's spirit will be with you to help you through the days to come and forever.
Love to you, my friend.

Lacey...I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I only knew David for a short time, but he was a great kid and always made me laugh with the silly stories he used to tell. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
