I think about the legacy you left behind and the life I lived as a kid not knowing who my grandfather really was. I'm raised with a faint memory, but it's so hard to grasp that I'm sometimes only left with feelings and vague impressions of a man I once knew.
I know that I loved you. I know that your death left an impact that's never really been completely left and when I face loss again in my life I think I come back to you. I wish I knew you. I wish I knew you more than what I could barely understand as a kid who just wants to go home and play games. But I don't. Despite that I still think of you.
Your memory remains on, 16 years after the fact. If nothing else I think that shows how special of a person you were.

Dolan Family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Doug is a Great Guy that Im sure will be missed by All very much. I think about the Nascar Race we went to together at Pocono 10 years ago. We had a blast! God Speed!

We will miss you alot at the shop. We've had alot of fun on our last minute road trips. The races at meridian speedway,and our nights out on the town in boise.
