Michael Morris Obituary

Michael Lee Morris Michael Lee Morris, born July 12, 1985 to Donald Morris and Tamera (Morris) Connolly, in Boise, Idaho, died May 22, 2008. Mike attended Boise High, Borah High and Mountain Cove High Schools. He had various construction jobs, before becoming a Mechanic and Assistant Manager at Connolly's Automotive, working for his step-father. He started with very little experience and worked hard to grow in his work. Michael loved the outdoors and could be found fishing, hunting, camping, 4-wheeling, dirt bike and ATV riding whenever he could. In his school years, soccer was also one of his passions. His friends nicknamed him Mikey Mo. Mikey had a huge heart and touched all who knew him with his passionate zest for all who he loved, and all the things he loved to do. He and his Dad had many great annual hunting trips to Elk City, that were the highlight of the year for both of them. When he did something, he gave it his all and he was always there for all of us too. Mike married Chelsea Ray (Turner) Morris, the love of his life, on Aug. 12, 2007. To her, Mike gives all the love in his heart. Chelsea's best friend, "I love you and you will always be my best friend and I will always love you and always miss you." Mike is survived by his wife, Chelsea Ray Morris; his mother and father, Donald Morris and Tamera Connolly; his step-father, Scott Connolly; his step-mother, Angie Morris; his sisters, Toni Ortiz (Marino), Cheyenne Connolly, his step-brothers, Cody Connolly and Evan Keller; and step-sister, Brittany Keller; grandparents, Frederic and Sarah Wilson, Judy Walters, and Dave and Mary Connolly. He is also survived by four aunts, three uncles, two nieces, a nephew and his beloved dog Buddy; and many, many life long and childhood friends. Mike was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Frank Walters and Ernest Corrigan; and his dear friend Mitchell Johnson. Mike, we love you deeply and always, always will. You are in our hearts for life. Find the Angels and Mitch, and the peace and serenity this world tries to hide. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Relyea Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Chris Marien officiating. Interment will follow at the Morris Hill Cemetery. At the conclusion, a celebration of his life will be held at 2588 Columbus Circle, Boise, ID. All are welcome. www.relyeafuneralchapel.com.

"Mikey Mo"
My beloved cousin. He is loved by all the Walters, the Morris's the, Johnson's, and many of his BEST friends! He will be missed but we cannot forget all the positive memories we have of him. His spirit will live on, we are all with him. We will not forget the camping trips, the fishing trips, the hunting trips, and all of his crazy outdoor mudding trips. He will be missed, and loved FOREVER!

Mikey, you will be greatly missed. You were a kind heart and a great young man. Your family did an amazing job raising you. Rob and Tony will miss your early morning fishing trips and we will always miss the random knock on the door at any time of the day or night. You will always be in our hearts and never be forgotten.

Mikey,
I only met you a few times with my brother Wil, but you always made me feel welcome. I always thought it was weird that you had the same name as my little brother. Now I know it was the exact same name. Maybe you two can joke about it up there. Thanks for all the joy you brought in our lives.

Mikey Mo,
I am sorely grieved that you will no longer make this world a brighter place. I have so many memories of you on my mail route, as Drew's great friend, and as a help to me over the years in all things mechanical. You could always make me smile. I miss you.
My condolences to his family and all of his friends in the 'hood and elsewhere.
