I played Bantam League baseball with Curt MANY years ago. After our last season together, our team went to Cleveland Stadium to see the Indians play. We all sat together in left field and I happened to sit right next to Curt and his dad. Sometime during that game a homer was hit which Curts dad caught bare-handed. I can still see the ball flying into Mr. Hs hands and the look on Curts face when he was handed the ball!
We moved away from Massillon a year or two after and I lost track of many of my old teammates. I sure remember Curt and what a fine teammate and person he was.
Rest In Peace Curt

Karen and Paula, my very deepest sympathy to you and your family. I was shocked when I found Curt's tribute this morning. Now, Curt will be with Phyllis and your dad. May your fond memories of your childhood and beyond offer you comfort at this most difficult time.
