Eddie Carpenter Obituary

Eddie William Carpenter, 64, Ennice, N.C. died September 1, 2014 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. He was born October 27, 1949 in Sweet Home, Oreg. to Howard William and Juanita Carico Carpenter. He is preceded in death by his father; two grandsons, Joseph and Corey.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Crouse Carpenter of the home; four sons, Eddie William "Bill" Carpenter Jr. of Ennice, Mitchell Allan Carpenter of Ennice, Russell Wayne Carpenter of Ennice, Steven "Petie" Dean Carpenter and wife Darlene of Ennice; seven grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; his mother, Juanita Carico Carpenter of Ennice; one sister, Kalora Temple and husband Kenneth of Arkansas; two brothers, Gary Carpenter and wife Melanie, Steve Carpenter and wife Sandy of Ennice; mother-in-law, Anna Billings Crouse of Sparta; and several nieces, nephews.

A funeral service was conducted September 6 in the chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Carpenter, the Rev. Mark Carico and the Rev. Max Combs officiating. Interment followed in Edmonds Community Cemetery in Ennice, N.C.
