Kinnie Shupe Obituary
She was born in Independence on Jan. 23, 1935, to William Thornton and Elizabeth Virginia Burris Shupe.
Survivors include two daughters, Lois Akers of Independence and Judy Shupe of Frederick, Md.; one sister, Paris Catron of Independence; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral was held Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Centerview Pentecostal Holiness Church with Bro. Randy Bledsoe and Harry Khalil Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the Hackler Cemetery in the Pine Mountain Community of Independence.
Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in Independence, is serving the family.
