Honea Path, SC - Evelyn M. Wright, 77, widow of Eugene Wright, died Friday, September 11, 2015. She was the daughter of the late James C. and Willie M. Crisswell Mattison. She was a graduate of Geer-Gantt High School and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two brothers, Rufus and Marvin Mattison.
Evelyn is survived by three daughters, Charlene (Michael) Donald, Margo (Lee) Williams and Vanessa (Anthony) Brazzell; four siblings, Betty M. Black, James, Broadus and Johnny Mattison, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 1 pm Thursday at Liberty Baptist Church and the body will be placed in the church at 12 noon. Burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-8 pm at the church and the body will be on view Thursday from 9 - 11 am in the Ollie Stewart Memorial Chapel, D.B. Walker Funeral Home, Honea Path, SC.
The family is at the home, 231 E. Hampton St, Honea Path.
