Fondly, I remember my high school years with KIM. Though we were not as close in college, occasionally we communicated and maintained a relationship that I will always cherish. As time passes, I appreciate the conversations and experiences we shared in Student Council. I believe we benefited from our relationship and grew as a result. Tomorrow, I will have funeral serves for my Mother. In the future, she and KIM will be in my memories during this time of the year. May God bless the Ridenhour family and may KIM's memories last forever.

No greater advocate had ducks.
No greater fan had the Tarheels.
No greater friend had I.
The world is a bit less warm and friendly since Kim passed. A selfish part of me wished I'd had some warning so I could tell him "goodbye" in person. An indignant part of me wants to rail against his premature departure from this world. But a loving part of me is thankful that he didn't face a prolonged suffering or disabilitation period.
I'll miss you, Kim. Farewell, my old friend.

Kim was one of my very best friends and business partner. He was one the most true Carolina blue friend anyone could ever be lucky enough to know him. He was always there, giving of himself, without reservation or expectation, never judging. You always knew Kim had only love in his heart. I miss him. I salute him.

So sorry to hear of Kim's death; we have known him for over thirty years and considered him a real friend. It was always a pleasure to sit down and talk with him. Indeed, he was a very unique man who greatly blessed all who knew him. God gave us a real gift when He placed Kim in this world. Kim worked with so many ministers with their finances and taxes, treating us like family, and we are so grateful for this service. Our thoughts and prayers are with all his family.

I knew Kim for over 20 years, and he was a great friend and advisor. He always explained my taxes, both personal and company, so that I could try and understand them. I relied on his advice for so many financial decisions, and I will truly miss him. He always had a smile and a joke, and I enjoyed our Nascar discussions. My sincere condolences to his family and office staff. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

I have been a client of Kim's and He has been a client of mine for more than 20 years. What a wonderful guy. I loved cutting his hair and hearing all his stories of Hunting with his buddies. I always had to give Kim his "Bear Cut", which worked! He killed one of the largest Bears last year with that cut; "Deer Cut" that we were working on just recently. And many" Duck cuts".
Kim kept my Salon taxes perfectly, always making me feel more as a friend, going that extra mile to help in any situation.
Ronnie and I will miss him terribly, we were so blessed to have him in our lives.
Love to Sandra at the office, she always kept the Office running smoothly and very efficiently, answering any questions we might have.
Thank you Kim, I miss you

I knew Kim Ridenhour for over 30 years as a friend and tax accountant. Kim was eager to help anyone. He was especially skilled and helpful to ministers and churches. He led many workshops for ministers on how to file and how to save on taxes. He was especially skilled on tax law as it applied to this group. Kim was patient and kind to everyone. He would explain and re-explain the tax law as it pertained to you question. When it is time for tax filing many ministers across North and South Carolina and Virginia will moan and groan because we will miss Kim as a friend and as an
expert we could always call and know we had the right answer.

I was sadden to learn about the death of Kim. I have nothing but fond memories of our years at A.L. Brown and UNC-Chapel Hill. Like most people our age, I wish that I could turn back the clock to revisit our years spent in student council and on the basketball team. He was an asset to both. The years are some of the most memorable of my life. Kim helped make those years very valuable. Larry added to the fun. Because we shared so many classes, Kim almost seemed like a fixture in my life. And so, an important chapter in my life has ended here on earth. I am certain that we shall meet again.

I knew Kim for about 12 years and he was always happy to see me. He always had a smile on his face and never said anything bad about anyone to me. He was always upbeat and welcoming of his friends. He had a good heart and had a lot of loved ones because of that. I will miss him dearly.

I worked with Make-A-Wish during the years that Kim was President. My fondest memory of my years with MAW was when the gospel group "The Mighty Clouds of Joy" put on a special concert for a little boy named Patrick. Kim played a major role in putting this concert together. It was a huge celebration. Patrick even played the drums even though he was very sick at the time. Kim was very devoted to the "Wish Kids" and I was honored to know such a great man. He brought great happiness to a lot of sick children.
