Beatrice Smith Obituary

Beatrice Louise Smith 64, Indianapolis, passed away September 21, 2006. Bea retired from Silver Burdette and Ginn in 1988 where she worked as a data entry operator. She was an active member of Horizons of Faith United Methodist Church, where she led the Wednesday Women's Circle for several years. Bea was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Webster (Jack) Smith, and by her children, Aurora Michelle Holland, Francisco J. Smith, Nora Marie Murphy, Brenda G. Bright, Robert D. Higgins, Huey L. Higgins, Jr., Jacqueline I. Smith, Christopher P. Smith, Alicia C. Stephens, Melissa Craig, Laura R. Smith, Kelsey M. Smith, Kim Rose, and many grandchildren. Bea was preceded in death by Lola Marie Kelsey Spratt Check (mother), Tinsley Spratt (father), and Walter Jackson Smith (son). Celebration of Life Services will be held October 1, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Horizons of Faith United Methodist Church, 3096 West 62nd Street. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Horizons of Faith United Methodist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Crown Hill Funeral Home.
