Deb, your Mom has been on my mind a lot lately and now I know why. She was such a neat lady and such a huge part of my growing up. Sincere sympathies to you and your brothers. I will watch for the service details for Indy. ♡♡♡

I remember Bette and Tony as young marrieds in the Winter Club years. Three generations of Todd's on the ice. Her mother was friends with my mother-in-law and they lived in the same apartment complex. In November of 1964 we were in their home before the Sunnyside Dance-I felt I was grown up. So very sorry to hear of her passing. Carolyn (Watters) and Dwight Austin

Joy and Bette after a showcase at Florida Open

Michele Sandon

It has been our pleasure and honor to know Bette Todd. She was a great woman and friend. We first knew her in Indianapolis as the president of our club, Ice Skating Club of Indianapolis. (And, I must confess, she was a little bit scary as a judge :D). But then we moved to Florida, and she was also a judge here and chairman of Central Florida Figure Skating Club's annual competition. I will always be thankful for being able to get to know her here, meet her for lunch at either Joe's Crab Shack or California Kitchen. She encouraged us with all our skaters, every one of my kids at some point in their life. Here's a picture of Joy Sandon with Bette after a showcase at Florida Open.

We will miss you Bette. You will be in our hearts forever!

So sad to hear of Bette's passing. A true friend to skating and all the young skaters. She held them to a very high standard.
