We worked together at Allied Grocers, became good friends, then were roommates for awhile. We had SO much fun! We've stayed in touch through the years and even when it had been a couple of years since we got together, it would be like no time had passed. We always had fun - how could you not, with the always happy, beautiful Connie. Even through the last rough year, she was almost always upbeat. We will miss her very much. Love you Connie!!!

Connie was my dear childhood friend. Having grown up down the street from each other, we spent countless times together for many years. I can still picture every detail of the Thompson home. Though we went to different high schools, we took Driver’s Ed together and walked home from school together every day. I have such fond memories of all the sleepovers, the Miramar Club, the Corvair, all the Tab that was consumed, and fond wonderful memories of the Thompson family. Though my leaving for college caused us to go our separate ways, I have thought of you all many times. I am thankful to Sue for all of her kindness and how she, Connie, and your family helped to shape my life. I am so sorry for your loss and hope you are comforted by knowing how much I and others care at this difficult time. I look forward to being reunited with Connie again. I would love to hear from Sue or Mike and share the rest of Connie’s story.

Connie was my dear childhood friend. Growing up down the street from each other, we spent more time together than I can possibly remember. Many sleepovers, many hours of play sharing just about everything. I can still picture every detail of the Thompson home, all the Tab that was consumed, and Connie’s parents and brothers. As we grew older, though we went to different high schools, we took Driver’s Ed together and walked home together every day. I even had the honor of being a bridesmaid in her wedding. After I left for college, we took different paths and went separate ways. But I will always, ALWAYS remember her and all that we shared. I am thankful to her mother for always being so kind to me, and I hope you are comforted by knowing how much I care for you and am so sorry for your loss. I look forward to being reunited with Connie again someday and am thankful for her friendship that helped to share my life. I would love to hear from Sue or Mike and hear the rest of Connie’s story.
