Today is Jon's birthday... he would have been 45. Jon was a good friend of mine. We worked together for 12 years, and we celebrated many birthdays and holidays together. I never knew anyone as loyal, sweet, and kind as Jon.

I retired over a year ago, and even though we talked several times this past year, we never got together... I always thought I would see you again... I miss you so much, my friend.

Jon was a sweet, kind, and gentle man. He was my boss at OneAmerica for many of the years that I have been there. First and foremost, Jon was a man that I was blessed to call my friend. I miss him already. My heartfelt condolences to his parents, his sister and Ryan - and the people who loved Jon. He will be missed deeply. May God comfort you in these difficult times and give you the peace that only He can give you. Hugs and prayers for all who knew Jon. Rest in peace my friend.

Jon was truly one of the good guys. He has definitely NOT always had an easy life, but seemed to always keep his chin up and looked at the positive in life. Good Christian guys w/seemingly good values. Always a pleasure to do business with at OneAmerica. He always knew the answer (or would find out), and took great pride in helping others; which I always appreciated. He will be/sorely missed. Many heart-felt condolences to Jon's mom, dad, sis and Ryan. May God hold you all in his loving arms and give you PEACE.

I will remember Jon as a man who quietly expressed his values in our walks and talks to the parking garage. May his walks now be more peaceful.

Jon Gribble was an amazingly gentle man. I remember having numerous conversations with Jon many years ago when we worked together. Jon was ALWAYS kind, caring, considerate, helpful and honest. Jon was a man of the highest morals and values. The world would be a much better place with more people like Jon. I will miss his smile and enthusiasm for life. I am proud to have been his friend. I am positive you are walking on streets of gold Jon. I miss you buddy.

Jon was so good at what he did. And he did it without drama or fanfare. He was just a good person. He moved gently through the world, with kindness and grace.
No one will ever fill his shoes. He has countless friends and admirers. They all will miss him as much as I do. I will miss him every time I call in to OneAmerica with a client. I'd always hope to get Jon because I knew he would be kind and professional.
Rest in peace.

Jon was the best of the best and will be missed by all. He was a great supervisor at Southern Bowl and the employees hated it when he was transferred to Western. The Smith family, along with the Hilbert family and Burnell family, was heartbroken when we heard the news. I know that God has a special place in heaven for Jon. He will always be remembered as a good friend by our families.
