Moses Day Obituary
80, Indianapolis, passed away June 10, 2016. Rev. Moses Day, Jr., was currently Senior Pastor of Grace Missionary Baptist Church. A position he has served in for the past 45 years. He also worked for K&F Industries for 45 ½ years retiring as a supervisor.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, from 4-8 p.m. at Grace Missionary Baptist Church, 1501 North College Ave, with additional calling on Saturday, June 18, from 10-11 a.m. at the church with interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Rutha Lott Day; children, Ruby Smith White, Anthony B. Barbee and Rev. Ken Day; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Chorsia Day, James Day, Roosevelt Day, Jimmy Day, C. L. Day, and Arthur Day; sisters, Fannie Austin and Henrietta Day, along with other relatives and his church family.

What can i say, you are one of the best men i've ever known. Never doubted your love for me grandpa, such a strong, loving, devoted man. No other man will ever be able to compare. I love you now and forever. I can remember sitting in the pews as a little girl just admiring you, when you sung you always put a smile on my face. I am so happy God blessed me to be able to call you grandpa. Rest well my love, my angel.

Rev. Moses Day, Jr. was my Pastor , friend, and mentor. I just can't believe that he has left this earth. I can still hear his voice. He had such a great sense of humor and oh what a smile! He kept me in line like a father. I thank you for your wonderful leadership and guidance Pastor and I will certainly miss you always. Until we meet again.
