Richard Richwine Obituary

Richard H. Richwine, 86, Greenfield, died Friday, June 27, 2003. He was born January 6, 1917 in Noblesville. He retired from General Motors in Indianapolis as a Test Engineer for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He was the first President of Noblesville Jr. Chamber of Commerce, Noblesville Masonic Lodge, Greenfield Elks Club, Choir Director of Philadelphia United Methodist Church, Allison Male Chorus. He was a graduate of Noblesville High School and Purdue University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during WWII, Ordinance Officer, U.S. Navy Reserves. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 at Pasco Memorial Mortuary, Greenfield, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 30; Rev. Marc Bundy officiating. Burial: Philadelphia Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to: Greenfield Faith United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Richwine and Bessie (Townsend) Richwine; and brother, George Richwine. Survivors: wife, Martha Jane (Cook) Richwine of Greenfield; sons, Dick Richwine of Indpls. and Fred Richwine of Fishers; daughter Phyllis Darche of Atlanta, GA; 6 grandchildren, Michelle Cappelletti, Scott, Todd, Whitney Richwine, Nichole, Meghan Darche; and 3 great-grandchildren, Alek, Alycia, and Aden Cappelletti.
