Robert Eppink Obituary
Robert D. Eppink 74, of Noblesville, IN, died Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Riverview Hospital. He was born April 7, 1935 in Buffalo, New York to Walter Theodore and Marion Frances (Doran) Eppink. ;He was a Notre Dame graduate class of 1957. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a long-time senior executive of Danner's, Inc. after which, he was a partner and then sole proprietor of two certified public accounting firms from 1978 to 2000. He was a member of the Indiana CPA Society for 40 years. He volunteered leadership and accounting services in varying capacities for different organizations throughout his professional career including those for the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, North Harbour Property Owner's Association, and Janus Developmental Services. He was a member of Catholic churches in the communities where he lived. Since 1978, he was a parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church at Cicero, IN. He was happily married to Margaret Carolyn (Kuth) Eppink since November 28, 1957. He was a giving husband, father, grandfather and provider for his loving family. Surviving him in addition to his wife are three sons and four daughters-in-law: Francis and Kathleen Eppink of Denver, CO, Stephen and Melanie Eppink of Carmel, IN, John and Mary Jo Eppink of Carmel, IN, and Jane Eppink of Urbandale, IA; two daughters and a son-in-law: Suzanne Baker of Noblesville, IN, Teresa and Douglas Fisher of Plainfield, IN, a brother and sister-in-law: Richard and Joan Eppink of Williamsburg, NY and 12 grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents, brother, Thomas Eppink, and a son, Lawrence Eppink. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 390 South Pearl Street, Cicero, IN with Rev. Michael Kettron officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., preceding the funeral service. Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
