I worked for Mr. Rubin in the late 80's and early 90's. He was a kind mentor and I have fond memories of my time spent at the law firm of Rubin Quinn. My condolences to your family.

Dad had a different connection with all of us. In each way his generosity, kindness, and wisdom shone through in an individual, and unique way. I'd forgotten how complicated he was for the last decade.
The service and outpouring of love makes this a little easier to say goodbye to Dad.
Love,
your daughter Allison (aka Sunni)

Hi:
Yet one more example of how my father has affected so many. This lovely tribute to my Dad, from Ann, his longtime receptionist at his lawfirm. Ann and I are still forever friends, and the trickle down of his good life continues!
A Tribute To Mr. Rubin
It is so rare in life, when one is granted a great happiness. My great happiness was the honor of possessing a job at Rubin, Quinn, Moss and Patterson, as proud receptionist for sixteen wonderful years. Every day that I exited the elevator onto the 18th floor, I would say Thank You God, Thank You Mr. Rubin for this job of joy.
When Mr. Rubin hired me, he gave me a bright new beginning for a beautiful life. Mr. Rubin was kind and patient. He gave me a world of promise and being a receptionist at the firm was truly paradise.
I was always treated with warmth and he allowed me to be the free spirit that I am, never minding when balloons surrounded my desk on my birthday or never minding or being critical of the many hugs I gave to everyone and never being annoyed with my decorations that made the firm look like Christmas everyday.
In heaven, Mr. Rubin will be revered. On Earth, he shall forever be remembered. Tis a tribute also to his wife Doris Jean who was beloved by the whole world.
I commend Wendy and Allison, his loyal daughters, who cared for him with endearing love to all of the family and friends, I embrace you with hugs from the heart.
With Fond Remembrances of yesteryear,
Ann Weiss Hirsch

Andy Rubin and I were best friends and companions for the last eight years of his life. Andy was a unique individual. He had a great sense of humor and was interested in everything. I will never forget him.

Andy Rubin was my father-in-law, and grandpa to my two kids. He was a larger-than-life character, incredibly generous, incredibly fun and best of all a brilliant man. He's literally the reason I have a 401k to fall back on today, and probably responsible for my political leaning as well) A terrific tennis player, golfer, camper, card player, Eagles fan, Phillies fan, and 76ers fan -- he took me to game in Barkley's prime! Loved his wife DJ, and his kids. With greatest sympathy to Wendy, Sunni, and Bucky, from Mike and Michele and Melissa and Max.

To the Rubin Family,
Andy was my mentor. He was and is the single most important person in my professional life. He was a unique individual. Tough but unbelievably supportive and loyal. I treasure the memories of my time working for him in the 80s at Rubin Quinn. We also spent many a wonderful summer evening playing tennis at the court behind your house. My deepest sympathies to all of you.
