Anthony Romano Obituary

Romano Anthony F. Age 76, of Glen Mills, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on July 6, 2024. Anthony was a licensed Funeral Director and Vice President of the D'Anjolell Memorial Homes, compassionately serving families in their time of grief. He is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years Eileen Romano, loving father of Ashley Romano and Marlo (Vinny) Iacone. Also survived by his cherished grandchildren Vincent, Gianna and Santino. His brothers Joseph Romano and John (Wendy) Romano. He is also survived by many loving niece's, nephew's and great niece's and nephew's. Relatives and Friends are invited to his Viewing Sunday, July 14th from 3 to 7 P.M., at the DANJOLELL – STIGALE MEMORIAL HOME, 3260 Concord Road, Aston. A second Viewing will be held on Monday, July 15th, 9:15-11:15 A.M. at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 A.M. Interment will be at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anthony's name can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project @ woundedwarriorproject.org or to Shriners Hospital for Children @ lovetotherescue.org Condolences can be made at www.danjolell.com

TO THE FAMILIES OF ANTHONY ROMANO: MY SINCERE SYMPATHY FOR HE WAS A TRUE GENTLEMAN IN ALL THE WAYS AND A SINCERE AND DEDICATED MAN TO THE HILT AND ALWAYS WENT THE EXTRA MILE FOR ALL HIS PEOPLE AT D'ANGELELLS FOR ALL THE YRS. WE DEALT WITH HIM AND WE KNEW HIM VERY WELL AND HE WAS INDEED A PART OF OUR FAMILY AND NOT JUST A DIRECTOR AND VP OF THE FUNERAL HOME. HIS DEDICATION WENT MUCH MORE AND WORDS CANT DESCRIBE HIS FEELINGS FOR PEOPLE AND HIS ENIGMATIC AND CHARMING PERSONALITY AND WARMTH IN THE ROOM AND HOW HE LIT UP WHEN HE CAME IN TO SIT AND DISCUSS THE FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOUR LOVED ONES AND THERE WILL BE NO ONE TO REPLACE THE DEDICATION AND WORK HE DID OR EVER WILL! SO REST IN PEACE WITH NO MORE SUFFERING MY FRIEND, ANTHONY AND I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU AND YOUR CHARISMA AND KINDNESS THAT YOU SHOWED TO ME AND MY FAMILY AND I WILL TAKE IT WITH ME IN MY HEART ALWAYS, SINCERELY, LOVE ALWAYS, SHINE BRIGHTLY, ANGEL ANTHONY, REST EASY AND FLY HIGH IN THE SKY AMONGST THE BEST FOR GOD ONLY TAKES THE BEST MY FRIEND UNTIL WE ALL MEET UP ONE DAY....
