PROFESSOR ARNOLD B., August 23, 2011. Husband of Rona (nee Solomon), father of Dr. Jessica Dudley (Andrew), Julie Cohen Norris and Alison Rosenzweig (Matthew); also survived by 8 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Thursday 11 A.M. precisely GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Interment Montefiore Cem. Family will return to his late residence. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Abramson Cancer Center/David Porter, M.D., Trustees of Univ. of Pennsylvania Hospital, 3535 Market St., Suite 750, Phila., PA 19104.

I have many fond memories of Arnie helping my father K. Cyrus Melikian and I negotiate the purchase of assets from Dad's old company RMI back in 1969 and 1970. His professional counsel helped create Automatic Brewers and Coffee Devices, Inc. - still going strong after 41 years. Arnie counseled us in the early 1980's on a clever way to structure an asset purchase which became a major part of the business. A very smart, clever person who found his ideal calling as a law professor. The Melikian family sends its sincere condolences to the Cohen family - remember all the good times!

Arnie...my heart is broken in your loss....you have been such a wonderful friend to me and my family...your kind words as my toast master at my wedding will always be remember...Thank you for all the wonderful years of such a close friendship...To you Rona and lovely daughters...its been a wonderful time knowing all of you and peace be with you at this time and in the future...Arnie, I will always miss you...Bobby
