BENJAMIN CLEMSON Obituary
BENJAMIN Jan. 21, 2010, age 90, at his daughter's home in Delaware surrounded by family and friends, formerly of Rox. Husband of Philomena Anne (nee Nolasco) of Phila. for 68 years. Father of Ronald (Marguerite) of Marco Island, FL., Gerald (Cindy) Clemson of Rox., and Karen Henigan (Larry) of Newark, DE and the late Donald Clemson. Also survived by 9 loving grand children and 6 great-grand children. Brother of Robert and Betty Clemson, Jack and Marylilyn Clemson and his little buddy Bailey. Ben joined the Army in 1942. He earned the opportunity to join the Army Air Corps. After graduating flight school he spent 2 years flying security missions over SW United States. Following the service he returned home to Manayunk. He received a degree from Phila. Textile College and worked in a textile mill, then for the Carlton Shop in Center City, Phila. Manhattan Ben will forever be remembered for his great smile and infectious laugh and devoted love for all in his life. Relatives and friends invited to Viewing, Tues. 9 A.M. at THE KOLLER FUNERAL HOME, 6835 Ridge Ave. (cor. of Livezey). Funeral Mass 11 A.M. St. Lucy's Church. Internment Westminster Cem.

It was such an honor to provide care and support to Ben and the family in the last couple of years. He was a dear man who gave as much to me and I did not him.

Although we have not seen Ben recently,we will always remember him as a smiling ,happy go lucky fun loving person.He will be sadly missed.
