Unfortunately, I never knew David Mynick. But I met his two sons at summer camp 55 years ago. These 2 brothers were their own people, sincere, kind, generous, and "real" people that I felt became friends of mine during that summer. They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, so, by implication, I have some shared sadness with Richard and Harry. My condolences to you both. Fred Chase

Dear Harry and family,

I was sorry to learn about your dad. I had met you a few years ago at Cedarbrook. I also did not realize your mother had passed away. It meant a lot for me to have met your parents, as they were able to fill me in with information on some of my mother's relatives, whom she had mentioned during her lifetime. My sincerest condolescences, your cousin.

Dear Harry and Richie, I wanted to express my condolences to both of you for the loss of your Father. We have not spoken for nearly 50 years, since meeting at Highlands camp in Vt. But you both made a significant impression on me. Fred Chase
