ERIC JASON, Oct. 1, 2012. Father of Rowan and Julianna. Son of Michael and Susan Hammer. Brother of Jared Matthew Hammer. Fiance of Aileen Scharle. Grandson of Lee and the late Rhoda Koff, Lenore and the late Bruce Hammer. Nephew of Wendy and Dr. Larry Krevitz, Cindy and Terry Bratton, Frank and Gerri Hammer. Future son-in- law of Carl and Diane Scharle. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Thursday 1 P.M. precisely GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. Interment Roose-velt Memorial Park. The family will return to the residence of Michael and Susan Hammer. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation, 367 E. Street Rd., Trevose, PA 19053.

Dear cousin Susan,
I know how painful the anniversary of Eric's passing can be for I share this exact grief over losing my dear Debbie back in 2015. I wish I could say that it gets easier. But it doesn't when losing your child. However, the love and support of family and friends does ease the pain. I am thinking of you at this time. I miss you more than words can say

My dearest, precious nephew...two months have passed since we lost you. Each day gets more difficult, if that is even possible. Without you, our family has a huge void, and can never be the same....it can never be whole again. This senseless tragedy has left two babies without their daddy, grieving parents without their son, a beautiful fiancee without her future husband, grandparents without their grandson, aunts and uncles without their nephew, many cousins and many friends without their best friend. You were a gentle soul, a caring, strong, loving person, who brought so much joy and happiness to everyone who ever knew you. You did not deserve this tragic ending at the age of 27. Your babies now have to grow up without their daddy. It is now our mission to make sure that your babies are always taken care of. You will always live on in our hearts, and someday we will all be together again my sweet precious Eric. I know that you and mom-mom are together and taking care of each other. My heart aches each and every moment of each and every day. You were always our hero, and now you are also our guardian angel in heaven. Until we meet again....Love you for eternity...Aunt Wendy

Dear Hammer Family:
Words cannot heal your heart at this time. But find comfort in knowing your son, brother, friend, father of 2, was a man that touched many hearts and lives. I met Eric once,maybe twice, he was friend to Billy H. (our neighbor's grandson). Many people are devastated by this senseless loss. May you know that many people are there for you for support and love. He will always be with you in your heart and may memories help heal you at this time.
