G. NAGLE, age 85, of Berwyn PA, on March 6, 2016, passed peacefully, at his home and with his wife by his side. He was the loving husband for 60 years of Margaret "Sally" Bridwell (nee Sooy). Beloved father of Mark Nelson Bridwell and Jennifer B. Dyer (Ted). Pop-Pop of Margaret Elizabeth and Miranda Lake Dyer.
After serving his country in the Army during the Korean War, Nagle enjoyed an amateur automobile racing career where his lifelong love of Porsche sports cars blossomed. He raced his silver 1958 Porsche 356A 1600S speedster on the weekends, winning many trophies and ran countless road rallies with Sally, his partner in love, life and adventure for 60 years. With Sally, he developed a lasting love of road and air travel. Together they saw the world, often traveling with their children, family and friends, creating a lifetime of wonderful memories. Nagle was at his best when he was helping others realize their full potential and he built a successful career in the home medical equipment industry HME). He owned Accurate Medical Service, Inc., the largest respiratory and home medical equipment company in the region. Nagle was one of the five founders of MED (Medical Equipment Distri-butors, later renamed The MED Group) Nagle was, first and foremost, a true gentleman. He carried himself with grace, honor and integrity, always leading by example. He served as mentor, guide and advisor but for Nagle, his most prestigious title was Pop-Pop, a mantle he wore with great pride for almost 12 years. There was no greater joy for him than his family and friends with whom he shared his generosity of spirit, kindness of heart, and deep and abiding love. He touched many lives in profound ways and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to call, Friday March 18th from 6-8 P.M. at Berwyn United Methodist Church, 140 Waterloo Rd. Berwyn PA 19312, and after 10 A.M. on Saturday March 19th. Funeral Service to be celebrated at 11 A.M. Inter-ment at St. David's Episcopal. In lieu of flowers, memorial contri-butions may be made to Berwyn United Methodist Church.
