Joan, Erva, James and Family, we started as friends and quickly became so much more. A friendship that grew into family. So many memories we will share. The sadness and pain will become a smile because each thought of Jim fills your heart with a warm, fuzzy, loving feeling, leaving no room for anything else. We were so blessed to have such a wonderful man in our lives. A friendship with Jim lasts forever and I feel bad for the people who, well, just didn't get it, you missed so much. A grizzly bear exterior to most people, because that's what he needed to be, but the Jim we knew, (thinking of a lightning bolt as I write), warm, fluffy kitten with a huge heart. He will be missed, but never forgotten. We love you guys.

Jim, Rest In Peace.. you were like our 2nd Dad at the station . You looked over us, taught us the rights and wrongs of fighting fire and you were always a great friend to talk to and solve any problems we had. We loved hanging out with you and listening to some of the old stories the station had. We take comfort in knowing that now we have a special guardian angel to watch over us.

Joan, James, Erva and family we are so sorry to hear of Jim passing. You & your family will be in are hearts & prayers.
