My deepest sympathy to Jeff's wife and children. You are in my thoughts and my prayers, as is Jeff. Jeff Ziernicki was a wonderful man -- good, kind and decent. I met him for the first time when I was working in Police Radio many years ago and was struck by his sense of integrity and dedication to the "job." A year or so later my family and me were gifted by his kindness and strength during the time of my cousin's [Barbara Abbott Glenn] illness and passing. Ironically she suffered from brain cancer too. My cousin was married to Hank Glenn who was at that time in Highway Patrol and worked closely with Jeff. Jeff was so good to all of us at that time. So caring and kind during such a wretched period in our lives. Having him around was a blessing from God. I will never forget him -- never forget the "cop" he was nor the man he was. It was my privilege and my pleasure to know you, Jeff Ziernicki.

May God hold you in His Hands my friend, you've ran a good race and now it's time to rest. May the peace of the Lord rest quietly on your children and your wife Carol. God bless you now and forever.
