EGAN John Edward Anthony "Tony" February 21, 2022, age 76 years, of Havertown, PA. Born in Manchester, UK on May 17, 1945 to John Egan of Tavrane, Co. Mayo, Ireland and Bridget Egan (née Cummins) of Sinolane, Co. Mayo, Ireland. Emigrated to Orillia, Ontario, Canada in 1952 and to the U.S. in 1954. Survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Ruth Grace Egan (née Dooley) and beloved sons Timothy (Heather Marie), Malachy (Amanda), and Austin (Lori). Devoted Pop-Pop to Eamon, Eoin, Nuala, Oscar, Malachy Óg and Cormac. Also survived by dear in-laws James J. Dooley, Jr., Frank G. Dooley, Sr. (Judy), and Katharine M. Coyle (Jack), and many relatives and friends. Preceded in death by brother-in-law Jack R. Dooley. Retired teacher with the School District of Philadelphia. Member of the Appraisal Institute and past President of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Chapter. Visitation Friday 6 - 8 P.M., THE DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 8401 W.
