JOHN EHINGER Obituary
JOHN, 92, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016. Beloved husband of Sallie (Alker); father of John S., Ralph A. (Ellen), Robert F. (Joanne), Anthony C. (Diedre), Harry A.; brother of Catherine Hurst; and grandfather of twelve grandchildren. John was a graduate of Drexel University, Marine Corp veteran serving in the CBI Theater during WW 2, former member of the Worcester Township Volunteer Fire Company, Volunteer Driver for Montgomery Hospital, he retired from Merck in 1993. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 3 P.M. on August 26th, at the R. L. WILLIAMS, JR. FUNERAL HOME, INC., Skippack Pike at Cedars RD. Skippack where friends may call to greet the family from 2-3 P.M. Friday August 26th. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the Worcester Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. We walk our dog by the house daily and talk to Harry and Steve and Dalton and Sugar and Rascal, sometimes Minnie and sometimes Sallie. Just the other week, I had the pleasure of seeing Mr Ehinger sitting outside in Harry's chair. We had a nice chat. He told me he loved to sit and enjoy the beautiful gardens Steve and Harry created and maintained. He loved his home. He loved his family. He told me of his travels and living abroad, but the thing is loved the most was home with his family.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Ehinger. Knowing how hard it is to lose a father, my heart goes out to my colleague Rob and your entire family. How blessed your father was to have lived such a full life! It sounds like he had many accomplishments, most especially his marriage, children and grandchildren.
