I was so saddened and sorry to hear the news about my dear friend John. I met John 18 years ago and felt an instant connection that seemed like I had known him my entire life. John was truly "One of a kind!!" His sense of humor was second to none would have me laughing for days. I will never forget how he would encourage my wife Helen to give me a hard time and to not believe a word I said. Even though he could keep you entertained he had a heart that was caring and warm. For being so brilliant, gifted and talented he was so down to earth and grounded. We were so blessed to have had John in our lives. I loved John and have the fondest memories and feelings but will miss him and the world will be a little less beautiful without him in it. But I have faith I'll see him again and until then, God Speed my friend and may you rest in peace and feel the great love, joy and bliss that the Almighty has in store for you!! God Bless and keep you Carol. John loved you so dearly. If there's anything you need or anything I can do for you please don't hesitate to let me know. I am only a phone call away.
Sincerely,
Dennis and Helen Robbins

Carol,
Just wanting to let you know your in my thoughts and prayers. I will always remember John and how he made people laugh all the time. I remember thinking he was the oldest person I ever knew who got their first job because he became a surgeon, never really realizing it took that long to do. May he rest in peace in true peace now and if there is ever anything you need just give a yell !

My last memory of Uncle John was visiting him in the hospital with my brother and Aunt Carol. It was a good memory. Uncle John told us funny medical stories recent and old. He was in good spirits despite being in a hospital making jokes and laughing. He said some clever remark to the nurse there (the nurses knew him by name at that point). This made aunt Carol roll her eyes but then genuinely smile. This was my last memory of him but it was like every memory of Uncle John. He will be missed. I'm glad he was in my life.

I'd like to offer my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to Carol and to everyone in John's extended family. He was taken from you far too soon. I met John about 19 years ago, and have many fond memories of the times we spent together, his great sense of humour, and his quiet strength in adversity. I know John will be greatly missed, but I hope that your hearts may be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times you spent together with him. May his soul rest in eternal peace with God.

John was the laughter in our family. He could send us the best emails accurately pointing out our worst and best features. He could help us with all our health problems. John loved Carol from the first moment he saw her in the ER to his last breath. He was my favorite brother, and is now with Karen, Ila, Joe, and Bill. Please visit me in my dreams John
